Bengaluru: Mobile details from employment website, youth harasses job seeking lady

Bengaluru, Dec 9: A young lady of Chikkamagaluru origin, who has completed her engineering and is seeking a job, had uploaded her personal details on employment website. A stranger who got the mobile number of the young lady in question, sexually harassed her over the phone for five months continuously. This incident is reported under the police station limits of J P Nagar in the city.

This is a warning call for all those, especially young women who enroll themselves on various websites and also on social sites.

The culprits who access the mobile phone numbers of young girls from these sites, take advantage of the same and harass the ladies by sending those obscene texts, speaking in a derogatory manner using profanity and even inviting them to have sex with them on the pretext of providing them job. In addition, many are luring the gullible job seeking women to pay money on various false pretexts.

It is advisable for young girls to check the reputation and rating of the websites before registering their personal details on them.
