Kundapur, Dec 6: In a tragic accident, one worker died and three others injured after mud caved in when they were digging a well at Aloor grama panchayat limits here on Thursday, December 6.
Gopala Mogaveera (32) a worker came under the mud and died. The dead body was removed with the help of 2 JCBs.
As more mud started collapsing during the rescue operation, it took three hours to lift the dead body. Gopala had put Ayyappa mala only on Wednesday.
Three more workers who were rescued have been admitted to Kundapur hospital.
Gangolli police visited the spot and conducted investigation.
