South Kanara Association London holds grand Christmas party

London, Dec 6: South Kanara Association London organised a Christmas party on December 2 which was a big success at the grand environs of the Clay Oven banqueting hall, London. Around 260 members and guests attended and danced to the fantastic music of the inimitable Chico. A festive environment was created by SKA members with Christmas tree and a wonderful Christmas crib.

The afternoon started with entertainment for the children. Christmas carols were sung by the children. A very healthy looking Santa then made his appearance surrounded by his little helpers and distributed presents and sweets.



There was plenty of dancing from ballroom, baila, Bhangra, Bollywood and thrilling adult dance games and spot prizes. Everyone participated with great enthusiasm. Compere Sujith Rodrigues entertained all throughout.

The clay oven did not disappoint with delicious starters which flowed endlessly and that was followed by abundant and delicious dinner. There was exciting raffle draw with wonderful prizes. Special homemade Kuswar was packed in individual boxes which sold like hot cakes.

President Sunil D'Cunha along with the committee, worked tirelessly to make the event a great success.
