Mangaluru, Dec 4: Actress Ashvithi Shetty along with other dignitaries inaugurated 'El Shine BeauMart', Mangaluru’s first all-exclusive cosmetics and grooming store here at Yeyyadi on Tuesday, December 4.
Fr Rohan Dias, assistant parish priest, St Sebastian Church, blessed the showroom.
Addressing the gathering Ashvithi Shetty said, “Congratulations to Roshan and Nirmala and it is my honour to be part of this event. Cosmetics are accessories for women. Especially for me, being an actor, model and dancer, make-up is like God for me. It is always an honour to be in home town and when people appreciate your work, it means a lot and motivates you to do better.”
“My movie Ananthu Vs Nusrath will be releasing on December 28 and I really wish that people in Mangaluru will support me. The graph of watching Kannada movie in Mangaluru is very less and when we represent Mangaluru and hear such things in Bengaluru, it really hurts. Mangalureans should take the initiative of watching Kannada movies and support budding talents.
"I wish Roshan and Nirmala a successful business venture and wish that they bring more ventures to Mangaluru and make the Mangalureans proud,” she said.
Praveen Chandra Alva, chairman of Town Planning and Development standing committee, MCC, said, "For every professional appearance, make-up is very important. The couple, Roshan and Nirmala have brought out variety of branded cosmetics in this outlet. I wish them all success in their future endeavours.”
Fr Rohan Dias said, "Mangaluru, which is called as ‘Smart City’ now, can be called as ‘International City’ after this outlet is added.”
