New Delhi, Dec 4: The Supreme Court gave big relief to state BJP president and former chief minister B S Yeddyurappa by quashing five cases of land grabbing and denotification against him on Tuesday, December 4.
The court which held the hearing of five cases registered by Sirajin Basha, an advocate and social activist, quashed them. Sirajin Basha had earlier filed a case in the high court that Yeddyurappa indulged in illegal denotification when he was the chief minister.
But the high court declared him innocent. Therefore, Basha filed an appeal in the Supreme Court.
