Abu Dhabi: Barakah International School wins gold, bronze medals at Winner Cup Karate

Abu Dhabi, Nov 27: Students of Barakah International School participated in Winner Cup 2018 International Karate Championship-2018 held in the city on November 23.

The event was organized by Winner Karate Club LLC, Musaffah Abu Dhabi UAE Karate Federation affiliated to Japan Sholokan Karate Do Kanninjuku Organization UAE, which is recognized by UAE Authority of Youth and Sports Welfare.

The event witnessed participation of contestants from varied countries. Barakah International School students are the recipients of 3 gold medals and 1 bronze medal.

Mohammed Shayan won 2 gold medals in Kumite, Mohammed Aman won a gold medal in Kumite and a bronze medal in Kata under the guidance of their Karate instructors Nadeem and Zakiya.

The students of Barakah International School have brought laurels to the school by consecutively winning in various state, national and international Karate events.
