At last, taluk status for Kadaba on November 25

Kadaba, Nov 20: Puttur assistant commissioner (AC), Krishnamurthy H K, stated that Kadaba taluk, which had been announced by the government earlier, will be officially inaugurated on November 25.

He was speaking at the preliminary meeting concerning taluk inauguration held on the evening of Monday November 19 at Ambadkar Bhavan here. He explained that state revenue minister, R V Deshpande,
would be inaugurating the new taluk on November 25 morning in the premises of Anugraha hall here. "MLAs, MPs, in-charge ministers, and other officials and people's representatives will participate," he
added.

Krishnamurty stated that the government had sanctioned ten crore rupees for building mini Vidhana Soudha here. "This will enable the government to see that all the departments function under a single
roof. Site for the building has been earmarked. Officials of different departments have to take up with their higher officials for opening of their offices here," he advised.

The AC also instructed the officials to make all arrangements relating to the inaugural properly.

Zilla panchyat member, P P Verghese, taluk panchayat member, Asha Laxman, Kadaba gram panchayat president, Babu Mugera, Sullia tahisldar, Kunhamma, taluk panchayat executive officer, Jagadish,
child development project officer, Shanti Hegde, and several others were present.

Kadaba special tahsildar, John Prakash Rodrigues, welcomed. Revenue inspector, Koragappa Hegde, proposed vote of thanks. After the meeting, the AC visited Anugraha hall and inspected the venue.
