Gurukula School holds annual sports meet

Udupi, Nov 20: Dinesh Kumar, deputy superintendent of police inaugurated 12th Annual sports meet at Vakvady Gurukula school.

Addressing the gathering, Dinesh Kumar said, "Sports makes us strong both physically and mentally. Sports gets special recognition across the globe and the students must love sports along with curricular activities." He also appreciated the students of Gurukula School for their discipline and leadeship qualities.

Management Trustee Bandya Subhashchandra Shetty presided over the programme. Management Trustee Anupama Shetty was also present.

Principal Fr Sanni P John welcomed and school teacher Nagaratna rendered vote of thanks.

The sports meet ended with the prize distribution. Aryabhata team won the overall championship.
