Bantwal: Archbishop Emeritus Dr Bernard Moras to visit Borimar church

Bantwal, Nov 20: St Joseph’s Church, Borimar here is on the eve its 125th anniversary celebration. As part of its centenary silver jubilee, the church will celebrate the event with a solemn high mass on November 21 at 10.30 am.

The church was established in 1893. Several programmes were planned every month this year as part of the celebration. Bishops from different dioceses are invited every month.

The festival mass will be led by Bengaluru Archbishop Emeritus Dr Bernard Moras. Other priests in the in the diocese will also participate. The church parish priest Fr Gregory Pereira and parish pastoral council vice president Roshan Boniface Martis gave the details in a press release.
