Kundapur: Government school celebrates school day in unique way

Kundapur, Nov 19: Kundapur government higher primary school, Hesakuttur which is famed for its unique educational experiments, held their annual celebrations in special way. The programme was inaugurated and presided over by children. The guests were also children. Elected representatives, department officials, teachers and others supported the children by being present in the audience.

The programme was inaugurated by Zee TV’s ‘Drama Juniors’ and ‘Dance Karnataka Dance’ fame Aradhya Srikanth. School pupil leader and district level memorising competition second prize winner Sreya Shetty chaired the programme.



Saima international award and state best child artiste in Kataka film, Shlagha Saligrama was present. School opposition leader and Girmit film child artiste Pavithra, school cultural minister and Karunada Shala child artiste Manish, assistant school pupil leader Arvind, district level English memorizing competition first prize winner selected for state level Chiratanmayi were present.

Students who have excelled in different sectors were felicitated. School education minister Rakesh Kedlaya welcomed the people. Pradeep proposed vote of thanks. Teacher Ashok Thekkatte compered the programme. School headmaster Shekar Kumar, Jayalaxmi, B Jayarama Shetty, Vijaya R, Vijaya Shetty, Ravindra Nayak, honorary teacher Chaitra Rakesh, Preethi, German teacher Biatix Roiska, school SDMC president Vittal Kulal, vice president Adarsh Shetty, retired headmaster Chandrashekar Shetty K N, grama panchayat members Lalitha Bhat, Sanjiva Kulal, elders Koragayya Shetty, old student association president Raghavendra Shetty, Hunasemakki group resource person Rajiv Kulal were present.

Anganwadi students performed Kuniyona Bara dance and school students entertained the audience with dances, songs, Karate, special memory demonstration, yakshagana and other programmes.
