Mangaluru: Prostitution racket - police raid house at Matadakani, arrest one

Mangaluru, Nov 19: The city crime branch (CCB) on Monday, November 19, busted a prostitution racket at a rented house in Matadakani and arrested a pimp.

CCB police, who received definite information that the pimp was indulging in prostitution in a rented house near Skoda car service center, Matadakani, raided the premises and arrested Megharaj (26), resident of Daddalakadu, Derebail, Kuntikan.

Two mobile phones, a laptop, Rs 6,000 cash, two bikes and an auto-rickshaw, all worth Rs 1,71,000 was confiscated from him. It is said that he has accomplices who were part of the crime. Investigation is in progress. A case is registered in Barke police station in this connection.

CCB unit Inspector Shantarama, PSI Kabbalraj, staff, Barke police station PSI Shobha and staff took part in the operation.

    Moral pollys will get a free oil change for their disturbing part if at all they raid. Police has to raid because he has been paid for that. Unemployed moral pollys always wait for free things. Because modi betrayed them of their 15 lakhs, and now he is telling them to sell PAKODAS.
