Udupi, Nov 18: Zilla panchayath president Dinakar Babu during a KDP meeting on Saturday, November 18, directed the officials to follow all the rules while renting out buildings.

"All the buildings and commercial complexes constructed by the gram panchayaths in the district must go to the deserving beneficiaries. While renting out these buildings the officials must follow all the reservation rules. All the rent must be collected on time," said Dinakar Babu.

The president also directed small irrigation and PRED department officials to take necessary measures to tackle water shortage problem in the district. He also directed the engineers concerned to complete all the pending works related to water supply.

He directed Ambedkar development board official to immediately provide pump sets to the SC/ST beneficiaries.

The officials of the other departments such as agriculture, tax and fisheries also gave details about the ongoing works during the meeting.
