Udupi, Nov 18: Zameer Ahmed Khan, minister of Wakf, food and civil supplies said reacting to the meeting of Reddy and Yeddyurappa that they remain together if everything goes smoothly. “Deserting during bad times is usual for BJP. Janardhan Reddy is still in BJP and he has met his party president,” he said.

He was speaking to news reporters in Udupi Congress office on Saturday, November 17.

“BJP means U-turn. It has become a habit for BJP. The state government will continue for five years and Kumaraswamy will continue to be the chief minister. It cannot be changed even if somebody jumps over, he said.

“People close to Yeddyurappa are telling me that Yeddyurappa did not sleep for four months. He is dreaming of becoming the chief minister. Dreaming is not bad. But when others dream during night, Yeddyurappa dreams during the day,” he said.

Speaking about Mysuru corporation Congress mayor, he said that while JDS has been given the position of chief minister when there are only 37 seats is it a big deal to give the position of mayor. “There are no differences between party activists,” he said.

Speaking about construction of Ram Mandir he said Ram mandir was forgotten for four and a half years. “The party thinks about Ram mandir only when Lok sabha elections approach. Muslims do not object to construction of Ram mandir. We want mandir and masjid. I have not seen another country where people of all religions live like brothers,” said Zameer Ahmed Khan.
