Udupi: District level scouts, guides camp held

Udupi, Nov 17: Indian scouts and guides, Karnataka held a district level scouts and guides camp under the aegis of its local Kalyanpur unit and Trinity school Perampalli on November 9 and 10.

Nearly 900 scouts and guides students from 41 schools took part. The camp was inaugurated by Shanta V Acharya. Dr Vijayendra Vasanth Rao, Jyothi J Pai, M Madhukar, Edwin Alva, Maxim D’ Souza, Ananda B Adiga, Nithin Ameen, Suman, Shekar and Fr Ravi Rajesh Serrao were present.

Several competitions and activities were held to bring out the talents hidden in the children. A rally set out from Trinity school to Perampalli Fatima church.



The camp concluded on November 10 at 4 pm. Dr Jayaram Shettigar, M Prabhaker and Florine D’Silva were present.
