It is indeed sad that the youth of a hardworking community are resorting to easy ways of making money.
Muslim community is a community I respect for their unity and the dignity of labour. But of late, in Dakshina Kannada, they are in news for all the wrong reasons - from thefts to drug peddling.

While it is heartening to see the girls of the community joining mainstream education, it is equally important for the community leaders to mentor the youth in the right direction. This will help immensely in upliftment of the community as well as the country.
