Bantwal, Nov 14: Vittal police have arrested Shamshuddin (33) an accomplice of notorious rowdy-sheeter Kalia Rafik in Kerala.
Shamshuddin, a resident of Bangadu, Kasargod has cases of attempted murder and ganja peddling registered against him in Vitla police station. He had absconded without appearing in the court. He was the accomplice of Kerala's notorious rowdy Kalia Rafik who was murdered in Mangaluru a year ago. He is also said to be an expert in stealing cars. Police have informed that several cases of vehicle thefts, assaults and ganja peddling are pending against him in Karnataka, Kerala and several police stations in Mumbai.
He was arrested by police team lead by Vitla SI Yallappa accompanied by police staff Dinesh and Ibrahim in central police station limits, Ernakulam and brought to Vitla police station.
He was produced in court and is subjected to judicial custody.
