Puttur: St Philomena PU College observes Talents' Day

Puttur, Nov 14: Fine Arts Association of St Philomena PU College organized Talents' Day on November 13.

The president, Fr Vijay Lobo, principalof the college in his presidential remarks advised the students to make use of the opportunities. He congratulated the students for making tremendous achievement in various fields.

The chief guest, Tejaswi, magician, GiliGili Magic said, "Education is about everything that we learn throughout life. Sstudents need to balance between studies and co-curricular activities. Hobbies give power to face life as books cannot teach everything and as students you should make use of all opportunities that you'll come across in your life."

Vidwan Balakrishna Hosamanne, Vidushi Megha R Devadiga and Vidushi Pooja Prashanth graced the occasion as judges.

Prizes were also distributed to the students who made tremendous achievement in various fields.

Dr Asha Savithri P, convenor, Philomena Montherio, Jyothi M, Rama Naik, Suma D, Santhosh D'Souza and Sathish cordinated the programme.

Dr Asha Savithri P, Hindi lecturer welcomed the gathering, Suma D English lecturer proposed the vote of thanks. Philomena Montheiro compered the programme.
