Sadananda Gowda gets ministry of chemicals and fertilisers

New Delhi, Nov 14 (PTI): Union minister Narendra Singh Tomar has been given the additional charge of the ministry of parliamentary affairs and D V Sadananda Gowda that of the ministry of chemicals and fertilisers, according to a Rashtrapati Bhavan communiqué Tuesday.

The move was necessitated following the demise of Ananth Kumar on Monday. He was holding the charge of both the ministries of parliamentary affairs and chemicals and fertilisers.

President Ram Nath Kovind, as advised by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has directed that Gowda be assigned the charge of the ministry of chemicals and fertilisers, in addition to his existing portfolio, the statement said.

Gowda is the Minister for Statistics and Programme Implementation.

Tomar has been assigned the charge of the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs, in addition to his existing portfolios, it said.

Tomar is Rural Development, Panchayat Raj and Mines minister.

No one is excited about his new portfolio....may be people know its of no use to anyone!! Looking at the comments one can judge the declining popularity and trust on DVS and BJP!! Bhakthas are slowly refraining from BJP support... may be people are fed up on fake promises!! Only Sanghis are busy with daily protests on new topics...while their own govt is ruling at center....they blame Congress, that too during difficult economic times due to mindless policies and poor implementations! Apart from few saffron clads in Mangalore all are worried and working hard for survival....!! I wonder what is daily that keeps them going with easy life of protests and press meets while others trying to make ends meet?
Guess people are going to discard them without noise!!

Janaushadhi scheme and fertilizer availability to farmers through proper distribution was the two areas where Minister Ananth Kumar's performance was visible.

The incumbent minister should improve that or at least maintain the standard. Otherwise he will fail miserably.

Whatever portfolio he gets, what is the use and benefit for his own coastal district??? Can not recollect anything good, at least a frequent rail from Mangalore to Bangalore while he was railway minister!!!! He should make us proud of him by being active, innovative and a performer, I guess it is a distant dream! We need result oriented politicians!! Party is not important...development is!!

Ask the Politicians to declare their Wealth and Assets. for Total ACCOUNTABILITY before and not after.
    Before giving them any portfolios.
before they take the OATH .to serve the nation and it s people..
Let them be like dr. Kalam..sardar patel.. Lala bahadur shastri...to name few..
    Let their performance be Evaluated.
    Targets given.
Their portfolio pan india should be Booming.
    with quality..precision..crisp.
