    Rules and our Police forces are far too lenient with criminals. There should be sevear punishment. During Portugese rule in Goa there were strict laws to punish criminals. One constable would control whole Wada. Number of crimes have increased by this so called peace loving minority. Strict action should be taken before it is too late.

    We must thank God for getting arrested these youths before the robbery could take place. Lets not blame any religion, but the people involved. As said before, robbery, rape, killings increases day by day. One of the reason is,though we have a law, but it is not being implemented. They arrests the culprit and later allow on bail and the case goes on for years. Secondly, why these arrested, kept in jail, get them educated there and make them work hard till they change their mindset and become good citizens. Even after letting them out, there should be constant touch with them.

    Also where is the promise of present government implemented? Who is the cause? These kind of youth engage in quick money for their selfish habits. There are youths, who can not afford to have a shop and selling goods like ready made clothes on the streets, working hard for their daily bread and butter. But the municipality comes in between and send them away, not allowing them to sell. Its not easy for them to carry a heavy load of clothes in their shoulder and sell standing all the while.
    Is this the service for the people of this country who have voted them?

    Let us be cautious while electing and pray to God that there is discipline in every field.

    Mr. Sampath...

    If you are commenting about the crime they have committed its okay that is provided you are perfect in all aspects. It is true what they have done is condemnable.

    But please do not comment on anybody's personal looks. It is not good for you.

    Now for example look at the black Africans. They have very dark complexion and many don't have good looks. But they are excelling in everything.. sports, studies, dance, music and many other fields. There are also many Bible preachers among them. But you cannot deny that there may be bad men also among them.

    So please do not comment on personal looks and appearance.

    Thank you.

    We should leave it to Muslims to decide, whom to send to Pakistan and Bangladesh .Majority Muslims are good Muslims and only few are spoiling the name of the peace loving community . It is upbringing of the children without any Moral lessons. They have to change Mulayam Singh attitude.They have to decide whether Madrassas are necessary which spread hatred preaching only Muslim to live in this world and others are Kafirs. Religious classes should be taught in proper schools. Otherwise these criminal minded people spread like cancer and disrupt the peace.

    I will not surprised if this percentage is fed to you from BJp IT cell or some similar organization. Meanwhile you have no moral right to blame others when you have not achieved 0%. Blame after you achieve that.
    I still rember the person in Shirva who was trashed by a lady for sexually her. Do you remember his name. Google it. Who runs most of dance bars? Who are most of the dons of Mumbai.

    I feel Mr. Shetty is right - Population less than 20 %, but responsible for 80 % of the crimes in our district. It is really a shame.
    I have regularly attended many Friday sermons in various mosques in our district, but never heard any of the Imams condemning these criminal activities like kidnapping, illegal cattle trade, gold smuggling, selling ganja etc.
    Hundreds of young boys attend these friday prayers, and it is a good opportunity to tell them what Islam says about these criminal activities.

    @Ahmed,

    What is your source of this 80%?. May be in you area.

    Regarding your comment about Friday sermon, firstly, note that Friday sermons cannot/ May not cover all the issues, especially when you are confined to some specific area.

    Secondly, do you think these people are interested in Friday sermons?. Even if they attend Friday prayer for the name sake, they reach the Masjid only after the sermon is finished and the Imam is about to start 2 Rakath prayers.

    Thirdly, it is undue blame on Imams, when you say that the Imams don't say anything about these crimes. It is very well known by all Muslims that Islam has very strict punishments for these types of crimes. It's not just Imam's duty to preach Islam. It's the duty of each and every Muslim to learn and preach the teachings of Islam.

    It is also possible that Imams in your area are not accountable to their position and just do their job as a source of income. I said it's possible. I am not saying that this is the case .

    @Jeetendra,

    Check the reality then. If any criminal is found with only one wife, then ban marriage also. Because they committed this crime to feed their family. Ban making girl friends also. Because girl friends make the boy friend spend more than that a husband spends on wife. First check if they are married or not.

    Do you know how many children the parents of Mahatma Gandhi or Lal Bahadur Shastri and other noted personalities had?. Did these personalities chose a wrong path apart from their poor lifestyle in their childhood. One used to study in the street light and other used to cross river by swimming to reach school.

    The survey conducted in 1965 reveals that it's Hindus practice polygamy more than Muslims. It was a government survey. It was not my survey. So do you want to.change your perception of relating crimes with religion/ family size?

    Guys start giving Moral Science book to your kids when they are small at home and in your schools.

    Group of people coming to gather to loot some one / kill some one and put others family on the road just to feed their family is barbaric / horrible act.

    I never do partiality, I will condemn from top of my voice even if this happens in my community. Hence do not take it personally, see what is good for our society and eliminate evil thoughts and actions.

    DisAgree [2] Agree [47] Reply Report Abuse

  • Nawaz, Udupi/ Kuwait

    Wed, Nov 14 2018

    @Rajesh,

    Absolutely right.

    But I would like add something. These people don't do these crimes to feed their family. They are addicted to easy life, by looting others. They have no moral values in their hearts.
    I will explain with an incident- While in was staying in my Grand Mother's house in my childhood, some children always used to steal mangoes from our trees. Once I caught hold of them and told them that I will tell your parents that you steal mangoes from our trees. Now comes the twist. I was shocked to hear his answer. You know what he said? He said that his parents themselves send them to steal the mangoes (They are well to do family). So I released those children as it was not their fault.

    So it is mostly not hunger that makes them criminals. It's their choice/ desire for easy and lavish lifestyle which they cannot afford otherwise.

    These criminals must be permanently kept in the jail. If they are released any time in future I am sure they will again start their criminal activity immediately.
    But the question is why should we spend government money to feed them in Jail permanently?.
    So it is better to shoot them and finish the problem permanently.
    They can never be reformed. This is like cancer, we have to kill the cancer cells, they can not be repaired.
    Only if we have strict law and severe punishment we can hope of preventing young boys from becoming criminals.
    Their parents are least bothered.

    @KR Prabhu,

    I agree with you partially. But, sincerely or not, Congress did something at least .

    But the current government reprentatives simply don't want this community to flourish at all. They want to showcase that this community is dangerous to this country and portray that criminals exist only in this community. They don't even call mob lynching by other community as crime. They don't even condemn gang raping/barbaric killing (just for being Muslim) of a 8 year old kid by other community as a crime. Even when mob practicing of anti terrorism operations they made the acting terrorists to wear skull caps. Has anyone, as of today seen terrorists in skull caps during their action?

    @Jossey,

    Very immature comment indeed. Pakistani population will double in case we start sending all the criminals from our Country. We, including me, as Indians should morally feel shame that we keep on reiterating to send the criminals to Pakistan instead of putting seal on these criminals and their criminal activities. This reveals our widely open system of corruption in all the walks of life and in all the government organisations and institutions.

    Do you know that Pakistan is ahead of India in Happiness Index. So what do we have to boast about. Instead of keep on blaming others, We have to accept our weak points and limitations if we want to improve ourselves.

    Possible only in fairy tale stories. Not in reality. Anyways , what efforts we have put to achieve that goal ??. We have almost all politicians who have multi crorepatis only after they got elected as MLAs or MPs and we keep on electing them repeatedly. We even discourage and threaten those who question our elected leaders. So is it possible to take our country towards the path of progress in this way? Do you still expect only clean and honest people by looking at the ground reality. It is exactly like expecting 15,00,000 from.Mr. Modi into each person's account.
