Janardhana Reddy denied bail, sent to Parappana Agrahara till Nov 24

Daijiworld Media Network - Bengaluru(DC)

Bengaluru, Nov 11: Mining baron and former BJP minister Gali Janardhana Reddy has been denied bail by a court and has been sent to Parappana Agrahara prison here on Sunday, November 11.

Reddy who was arrested on Sunday afternoon allegedly for shielding a father-son duo who have been accused of running a Ponzi scheme in the name of ‘Islamic Banking’ was produced before a judge after medical test. He has been sent to judicial custody till November 24. His anticipatory bail plea will be heard on Monday November 12.

Reddy, who was absconding untill recently, had on Saturday arrived at the Crime Branch office in Bengaluru for questioning in connection with the Ambident Group alleged bribery case.

The influential mining baron, who came to the Central Crime Branch office in a car along with his battery of lawyers, had earlier released a video message from an unknown location, saying that he would appear for questioning in the case.

After arriving at the Crime Branch office, Reddy claimed that there was a 'political conspiracy' and added that he had full faith in the police.

In his video message, Reddy had claimed that he was not absconding and was very much in the city while asserting that there was no need for him to flee. He also rubbished media reports that he had fled to Hyderabad or some other city, as per PTI.

The CCB had launched a hunt for him since Wednesday in connection with a money transaction worth crores of rupees, allegedly linked to a Ponzi scheme being run by Ambident Group, a private enterprise, which allegedly cheated thousands of depositors.

Its owner Syed Ahmed Fareed had claimed that he allegedly paid Rs 18 crore to Reddy for help after his group came under the scanner of the Enforcement Directorate.

Reddy, a powerful minister during the previous BJP rule, had been arrested by the CBI in 2011 over alleged multi-crore illegal mining scam and granted bail three years later.

In 2012 the former Karnataka minister Gali Janardhan Reddy from BJP, who was arrested in connection with the iron ore mining scam has offered as much as a staggering Rs 100 crore to secure bail in a bail-for-sale scam to the CBI judge. Earlier, the deal amount was put at Rs 15 crores.

A former judge D Prabhakar Rao was found dead by his son and wife, who was an accused in a cash-for-bail case allegedly involving former Karnataka Minister Gali Janardhana Reddy, was found dead under suspicious circumstances at his residence in Hyderabad

Now gone missing three days and denied anticipatory bail the former minister and ATM of BJP have stashed more than Rs.30000 -40000 crores in tax-free heavens.

Last time CBI judge have to pay for his life to secure his bail after 4 years in jail. He has extravaganza wedding worth Rs500 crores for his daughter in the mid of 'Demonetization' when the whole nation stood for hours to withdraw limited cash in which more than 150 people have died. The only whistleblower who left suicide note of money transaction was found dead similarly to the Judge earlier.
If this corrupt case is pursued in the past, Judge Loyla case in a fake encounter in which BJP party president Amit Shah is prime accused won't have repeated.
This man with surplus wealth looted from Karnataka state coffers, who will be the next judge to be killed for his bail-for-sale.
    1. Why the Indian judiciary is the at the lowest when it comes to corrupt practices of politicians?

    2. How can RJD leader in 'Fodder scam' is getting sentenced and BJP's former minister free to run for election on bail from jail?

    3. Is this BJP and Prime Minister Modi's 'corruption free Indian'?

Not only this Reddy but all BJP ministers and activists are Jail Worthy. BJP has been toiling relentlessly to charge and jail so many congress and other non BJP members but all in vain. Parappana jail is making history by proudly naming it as BJP House. From Nagpur to Parappana A Life Journey.

When. Someone loot the poor then for sure he will be punished this ways. Prison or call him a orphan prison. Boy or looter or 420. This time better to keep him dark room cell prison. So that next time he will remember of the punishment of jail. I believe last jail life was easier for him so he came out and looted again. This time ops has to give him harsh punishment so that he will never ever dare to loot

Any scam that you involved will be forgiven but not looting the natural resources of your own motherland. One cannot sell his own mother to others just being greedy for money. All his brothers, relatives and all the politicians who supported him to be sent to jail for lifetime. After making thousands of crores looting the natural resources of his own motherland does he has peace to live his life??????

If this man understood the simple truth that he is not permanent in this world and thereby he cannot enjoy his millions of money in his short life span, earned by looting our natural resources, he wouldn't have cheated his motherland. He won't have time to think even how much he gathered before dying. He truly deserves to be in jail.
Though we blame the British for looting us, it's sad to see that our own people are snatching away at the very life of our country.

Your great aspirations since the beginning of this century to fill your Bail Gadi are here finally. But all the passengers are with Kesar Shawl and you as driver. Tihar jail is exclusively reserved for 56" chest and his closest 40 chors. It is little higher class jail for higher class people than Parappana.

There is a,long waiting list of the corrupt to enter.
