Bantwal, Nov 9: Carmel College Modankap inaugurated the golden jubilee year of NSS by unveiling the golden jubilee logo of the NSS.
The 125 years of Swami Vivekanananda’s speech at Chicago was also celebrated on the same day. Prof Santhosh, department of Political Science Davala College Moodbidri was the chief guest. Through his motivating message, he encouraged the students to promote peace and unity and to serve the nation with greater dedication and determination.
NSS officer Madhura and NSS secretary Babitha Pereira II BBA co-ordinated the programme. Pooja I BCom welcomed the gathering and Ismail Sinan I BBA rendered the vote of thanks. Deepthi of II BCom compered the programme. Principal Prof Sr M Supriya congratulated the NSS volunteers for drawing up the action plans to mark the golden jubilee of NSS.
