Now, BJP MLA wants to rename Hyderabad as Bhagyanagar

New Delhi, Nov 8 (NIE): Hyderabad and its twin Secunderabad will be renamed if the BJP is voted to power in Telangana, party MLA Raja Singh said on Thursday. Hyderabad would be rechristened as Bhagyanagar, its erstwhile name, if the BJP wins maximum seats in the December 7 assembly elections, he said. Singh also said the names of Secunderabad and Karimnagar would also be changed.

“Earlier, Hyderabad was known as Bhagyanagar. In 1590, Quli Qutub Shah came and changed Bhagyanagar to Hyderabad. At that time, many Hindus were attacked, many temples destroyed. In Telangana, BJP will win a majority and then our first aim will be developing the state and second will be renaming Hyderabad as Bhagyanagar. We will also change the names of Secunderabad and Karimnagar,” Singh, who represents Goshamahal assembly constituency, told ANI.

Singh further stated that the areas named after Mughals and Nizams would be renamed after the people who fought for Telangana and the country. His remarks come days after the Yogi Adityanath-led BJP government in Uttar Pradesh renamed Allahabad and Faizabad as Prayagaraj and Ayodhya, respectively.

Earlier this year, the Mughalsarai Railway station was renamed as Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay junction.

Taking a cue from the UP government, the Gujarat government has also expressed its interest in renaming Ahmedabad as Karnavati. Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani on Thursday said the government was looking into the legal aspects.

“We are contemplating changing the name of Ahmedabad to Karnavati, the talks of which have been going on since a long time. Concrete steps will be taken after looking at it from legal and all other angles. We will think about it in the time to come,” Rupani was quoted by ANI.

The Shiv Sena too jumped into the bandwagon and asked Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis when would the state government rename Aurangabad and Osmanabad. “Yogi Adityanath has renamed Allahabad and Faizabad to Pragyaraj and Ayodhya. When will CM Devendra Fadnavis rename Aurangabad to Sambhaji Nagar and Osmanabad to Dharashiv Nagar?” Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut tweeted on Thursday.

Instead of focusing on these, how bad that they are interested only in changing names.

MOORKHATA KI BI EK LIMIT HOTI HAI.
BJP should be ashamed of running away from the real issues and deflecting the minds of common man from its failure by raising such silly matters in order to discuss in National media debates. Media also backing communal govt.regularly.

Which Historians? Sanghparivaar historians? To them every Muslim monuments or place of worship was built under the Temple. Jhoot ki bhi bardast hoti hai. Entire Sanghparivaar community is filled with lies, malice, fabricated history, Muslim and Christian hatred. These maroons want to wipe the identity of Muslims and Christians in India, but mark my words this can only happen in dreams.

Every insane minister of this outfit busy saying this Muslim ruler changed the name and destroyed 8000 to 50000 temples as if in those days population was very high and people were living in temples rather than homes, to say so many temples were built at each and every corner to produce in numbers...... Don't these maroons have fear of their own God to lie each and everytime? Does their Religion not teach them not to say and spread lies? If not then how come they are true worshippers?

If these morons continuously try to wipe Muslims and Christians then mark my words the day will come the world will retaliate and trouble, tortured and throw all Indians out from other countries where they are currently happy earnimg and living in those Muslim and Christian land.

You are right. You were a Rajput in your earlier life and lived within the neighbourhood of Tejo Mahalaya. You were an eye witness when Shahjahan changed it's name.
Now this is your second life ???

From expensive Rs15 lakhs election promise BJP is coming down to cheap mere changing name of the place as election promise. First give Bhagya to people then automatically it will be known as Bhagyanagar. Your party in the centre has made India into KANGAAL DESH.
