Puttur: Man ends life by consuming poison

Puttur, Nov 8: A villager from Nelyady ended his life on Wednesday November 7 by consuming poison. Joseph (69), resident of Baikjalu House in Nelyady village took away his life in this fashion.

Joseph was working for a firm named 'Seegull Farm' in the past. It is said that he was undergoing depression and was under treatment for the same. His wife, Gracy, told the police that Joseph consumed poison as he was frustrated at the fact that his health issues were not showing any signs of improvement.

A case of unnatural death in this connection was registered in Uppinangady police station.
