Mangaluru: Carmel School observes patriotic Kannada Rajyotsava

Mangaluru, Nov 5: Carmel School celebrated Kannada Rajyotsava with great solemnity and opulence.

The stage decorated with animated colours of Red and Yellow set a tone for the day’s celebration.

The programme initiated with a meaningful prayer service followed by an affectionate and genial welcome extended to the principal and the audience through words of welcome. The significance of the day was ingeniously highlighted which in turn motivated the gathering on the unification of Karnataka and its rich cultural heritage.



A variety of entertainment programmes which included dance, skits and songs were presented by students of class III and UKG. Sr Sarika the principal emphasized the importance of learning Kannada and expounded the importance of the colours of the Karnataka flag.

The event generated a sense of pride in the minds of the audience for being part of a rich and vibrant culture.
