Panaji: HSCC to construct Goa’s Health Care Infrastructure

Panaji, Nov 2: Union government’s Hospital Services Consultancy Corporation (HSCC) will be nominated to set up all the health related infrastructure in Goa.

Health Minister Vishwajit Rane said that the central corporation which has a vast experience in health care sector will also take up work on upgradation of Candolim Health Centre and also Cancer Block near Goa Medical College and Hospital.

Rane was talking to reporters after reviewing the work on ongoing Super Speciality Block near GMC which is constructed by HSCC.

He said that the work on Cancer block will start as soon as possible for which the file has been moved to chief minister Manohar Parrikar.

State government is also planning to construct mother and child block near GMC.
