Mangaluru: Srinivas Institute of Technology Valachil holds management fest 'Shriyans'

Mangaluru, Oct 30: A two day national level management fest Shriyans-2018 'Sashakth' was organized by MBA department of Srinivas Institute of Technology, Valachil here on October 25 and 26.

21 teams from different MBA colleges participated in the fest. Suma J Ashish regional head Karnataka South and Goa, Geojith Financial Services, was the chief guest at the valedictory function who distributed cash prize, trophies and certificates to the winners of various colleges.

The overall winner in the event was SDM PG Centre, Mangaluru, overall runners up were Canara College Mangaluru. The best manager was won by student of Canara College Mangaluru. In the marketing event first position went to SDM PG centre, Mangaluru and second position was secured by AIMIT- Aloysius Institute of Management and Information Technology, Mangaluru.



In the Finance event, first position went to SDM PG centre Ujire and second position was secured by St Pholomena College Puttur.

In the HR event first position went to SDM PG centre, Mangaluru and second position was secured by University College Hampankatta (MCom), Mangaluru.

In the Business Quiz event, the first position went to Mangalore University (MBA) Konaje and second position was secured by University College Hampankatta (MCom), Mangaluru.

In the Best Management Team event the prize was secured by SDM PG centre, Mangaluru.

The Ice breaking event was won by SDM PG centre, Ujire.

The function was presided over by Dr Srinivasa Mayya D, principal of the college.

Dr Ajoy S Joseph, HOD of MBA department, Prof Steevan Robert Tellis, staff coordinator, Keerthan B Tholpady, student coordinator of the management fest were present on the occasion.

Nidha Ayesha and Rahila Baanu were the masters of ceremony on the occasion.
