Doha: MCC to hold eagerly awaited Ladies Open Throwball Tourney on Oct 25, 26

Doha, Oct 24: Mangalore Cricket Club (MCC), Qatar will hold its ever popular 16th annual MCC Ladies Open Throwball Tournament this weekend- October 25 and 26 at the Doha Modern Indian School Grounds (DMIS), Abu Hamour.

This year six teams namely, Tulu Koota, Karnataka Sangha, Konkan Stars, English Modern School, Rising Stars and host team MCC will vye for the prestigious MCC Trophy. League matches will be played on Thursday October 25 at 6.00 pm. Semifinal matches will commence at 3.30 pm on Friday 26th October. This will be followed by an official stage function around 6.00 pm and then the exciting final match will be played, followed by a prize distribution ceremony.

Ladies Throwball Tournament has not only provided an avenue for ladies to exhibit their sporting skills, but it has also been an opportunity for the spectators to join in the fun and spirit of the game. MCC invites all sports lovers in Qatar to attend in large numbers and enjoy the exciting matches and cheer the teams.
