Mangaluru: Free Yoga camp inaugurated at Gopalakrishna temple auditorium

Mangaluru, Oct 23: Shakti Residential School and Pre-university College, Shaktingar with the cooperation of Gopalakrishna temple inaugurated a free yoga camp in the temple auditorium under the leadership of Yogarathna Gopalakrishna Delampady on Monday evening October 22. SDM postgraduate research center founder director Dr Devaraj inaugurated the camp.

Dr Devaraj said that one gets joy, pep, intelligence, energy and spiritual feelings from yoga. “It is a link between the soul and the almighty. It is a guide to remain healthy,” he said.



Mangaluru advocate’s association vice president Pushpalatha U K said that yoga improves self-confidence. Sharing her experience of practicing yoga, she said that life can be made happy when yoga exercises are performed on a daily basis.

Yogarathna Delampady said that with ‘Mantra Mudre’, yoga exercise for control of sicknesses, the nerves of the brain get revived and blood supply becomes smooth increasing self-control. “We should practice it in the camp and make it a habit.

Gopalakrishna temple trustee K C Naik wished that healthy society be formed with Yoga.

Shakthi Education Trust chief advisor Ramesh K was on the dais. Temple administrator Krishna Kumar welcomed the gathering. Shakthi Pre-university College principal Prabhaker G S proposed the vote of thanks.
