Mangaluru: Case in Vittal police station - absconding accused nabbed from Bajpe

Mangaluru, Oct 21: Zubair (26) from Paivalike village in Manjeshwar taluk in Kasargod district, who had been named as an accused in a case registered in Vittal police station, stands arrested. He had been evading personal presence relating to the above case in the court.

Police personnel of Bajpe station arrested Zubair from near the international airport here on Saturday October 20 and produced him in the court.

 

In connection with the case registered against Zubair in Vittal station, the court had taken up hearing. As he failed to appear in the court even after service of summons, the court had issued warrant for his arrest. The next date of hearing in the case is February 13, 2019.

Zubair was arrested by Bajpe police after getting information that he was moving towards Bajpe from the airport. He has been handed over to Vittal police for further action.
