Sadhu cuts off private part over love affair allegations in UP

Bamna, Oct 19(DC): Distressed by the allegations about his alleged love affair, a sadhu in Uttar Pradesh's Bamna village cut off his private part during a nine-day fasting of Navaratri.

The sadhu identified as Madani Baba, who is currently admitted in a hospital in Bamna district, alleged that a conspiracy was hatched against him by a group of people as they could not bear his aim to build an ashram in an empty land.

He said that the people had tarnished his image by linking his name with a woman who stays in a nearby area.

 

"The sadhu happens to be a 28-year-old man residing in Kamsin village. He cut off his genitalia after an allegation surfaced against him. His treatment is underway," Bamna district hospital doctor Balveer Singh told ANI.

The district police have initiated an investigation into the matter.

    Since #MeToo movement has started lot of guilty people have attempted suicide, severing thier own private parts, threatening and intimidating the victims thinking they have the winning edge. But guys you are sadly mistaken it's too little too late. You have already committed the crime so, destroying evidence, tool and eligibility of sexual assault now will make the case that much stronger against you. Remember, destroying evidence is also a crime.

    This is the same Savarkar whose portrait was placed in parliament under the stewardship of the BJP and whom Modi referred to as ‘a true patriot.’ Savarkar’s call for rape as a political weapon still finds open resonance among communal fanatics. Yogi Adityanath, now the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, once made a speech threatening to “convert a hundred Muslim girls for every 1 Hindu girl that ‘they’ take.” Members of Adityanath’s Hindu Yuva Vahini have openly called for the exhumation and rape of dead Muslim women. In Gujarat in 2002, Delhi 1984 and Muzaffarnagar in 2013, rape was used as a weapon against minority women.
    The tragedy is that most Indians are either unaware or willfully ignore the reality of the RSS’s ideological project. The RSS is no different from other ethnic or religious nationalists.
    Dude just raising the slogan 'Bharat Mata ki Jai' won't give the women empowerment but court of justice to the victim.

    Has he done just a circumcision for himself or cut it off from the base????. Anyway, if a part of your body causes you to sin then it is better to cut it and remain without it for rest of your life. Wish all Indians understood this and practiced so that the tag we have as Rape Capital of The world will go away.
