Udupi: BJP dissidents recommended to be expelled from party

Udupi, Oct 17: City BJP unit president, Prabhakar Poojary, said that he has sent letter to district president of the party, Mattar Ratnakar Hegde, recommending expulsion of those who indulged in anti-party activities.

He said that he has recommended expulsion of following members with immediate effect, based on the requests of respective ward committees.

1. Geetha Ravi Shet for fighting the election against party candidate from Volakadu ward against party's official candidate in the municipal election.

2. BJP state executive member, Ranjith Salian, for campaigning against party candidate in Vadabhandeshwara ward and getting involved with anti party activities.

3. Tenkanidiyur gram panchayat members, suresh Nayak Kelarkalabettu and Bhojaraja Shetty Laxminagara for casting their votes against the party candidates in the election to the posts of president vice president of the panchayat.
