Mangaluru Oct 16: District in-charge minister U T Khader will write a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union urban development minister seeking permission and clarity regarding slaughterhouse that will come up at Kudroli under Smart City project.

Addressing media here on Tuesday October 16, U T Khader said," Keeping the cleanliness and hygiene issues in mind, a proposal was made to construct a slaughterhouse worth Rs 15 crore at Kudroli. This proposal attracted severe criticism from the opposition. I am deeply saddened by this. The allegations should not have been made by elected leaders. So I have decided to write a letter to Prime Minister and Union urban development minister seeking permission and clarity regarding slaughterhouse issue. I will also ask in the letter if there is any chance of inclusion cow shelter (Goshala) as per the guidelines of Smart City project.

Revenue Adalat on November 12

"Several problems are seen with regard to conversion and revenue issues. We held a meeting with revenue minister and urban development secretary on the same. We have decided to conduct Revenue Adalat on November 12 at DC office, to sort out the issues immediately. We have informed deputy commissioner to conduct Taluk level Adalat in the presence of local tahasildar and surveyor to resolve the minor issue related to revenue and conversion before the revenue Adalat on November 12,” informed U T Khader during the press meet.

No use writing to PM Narendra Modi. For Him and His party exporting beef is legal and slaughter house which slaughters goat as well as buffalos is illegal in India for consumption locally. I hope my Hindu friends understand the motive behind this.....

"At present PMO is only concentrating on killing terrorists and stone throwers. They are not bothered about any other things"

Don't you know that Modi (including the team members) are so bothered about Rahul Gandhi ? Tension is increasing day by day.

Have you read the statement clearly?, now khader says "seeking permission to the upgrade of slaughter house" that clearly shows till date no permission has been granted. Khader should know "smart City" is to develop surrounding areas of Mnglr and not for inside Mnglr for which MCC is there
