Mumbai: Well known drama, film actor Bhavani Shanker Shetty passes away

Mumbai, Oct 15: Well known artiste, popular in the roles of villain, Bhavani Shanker Shetty (63), passed away after a brief illness at a private hospital at Mira road on Sunday October 14.

Bhavani Shanker was one of the founders of Kala Jagathu organization and had acted with famous Kannada actor Raj Kumar as villain in Shabdavedi Kannada film. He was a well known Kannada, Tulu and Hindi actor of dramas and films. He was also seen on TV screen in Delhi Doordarshan's Ek Kahani serials.

Bhavani Shanker hailed from Aikala, Dakshina Kannada and was living for the last several years at his residence at Andheri west. He has left behind his wife Philomena Shetty, son Varun, daughter Nikhita, large number of family members, well wishers and fans.



His last rites were held at Andheri west crematorium.
