Bengaluru: Five farmers end lives in separate incidents

Bengaluru, Oct 15: Five farmers committed suicide in the state in separate incidents which happened on Saturday October 13 and Sunday.

Three of them ended lives in Belagavi district. Nagaraj Prakash Unakal (28) committed suicide by consuming poison. He was from Hoskoti in Bailahongala taluk. It is said that he had a loan liability of around two lac rupees.

Sanjeev Hanumanth Barkera (37), who belonged to Hosakeri village in Ramadurga taluk hanged himself.  His family members said that he was facing a liability of seven lac rupees. Dhareppa Ningappa Annigeri (32), residing at Savalabavi lane in Saudatti town consumed poison and lost his life.  He had raised loans to the tune of five lac rupee.

Eranna Bhootali Tallur (32) hanged himself at Hagginala in Jewargi taluk, Kalaburagi district because of the huge loan burden staring at him.
