Moodbidri, Oct 15: Lightning struck a house in Moodbidiri with material loss of Rs 4 lac here on Saturday October 13.

The house of Laxmi Poojary, a resident of Bellibettu was struck by lightning on Saturday damaging electrical items as well as the roof.

It is estimated that the lightning caused a loss of Rs 4 lac. There were only two family members at the time of the incident.



Rvenue officials have visited the house.
