Udupi, Oct 14: The ambitious and maiden project, ‘Valentine Residency’ of N N Developers was inaugurated by Pramod Madhwaraj, former MLA and minister on Sunday, October 14.

While Dr Jerry Vincent Dias, president, Credai Udupi inaugurated the formal function by lighting the lamp, Fr Victor Fernandes blessed the project.

K Jayaprakash Hedge, former MP, Udupi-Chikkamagaluru, Gopal Bhat, AG Associates, Udupi, Saraswathi Naik, president, Chanthar grama panchayat, promoters Neyons Antony D’Souza, Peter D’Souza, and Urban Lewis were present.

Pramod Madhwaraj addressing the gathering said, “Brahmavar, even though is a rural village, has witnessed development equivalent to cities. In the coming days, Brahmavar has to be upgraded to city municipality. In this regard, we will have to work with crossing the barriers of political parties. Each bird wants to have its own nest in the world. Similarly, we human being want home. I wish the young developer the best and pray that he rises to greater heights in the coming days.”

Dr Jerry Dias said, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi had said that by 2022, he targets to build nearly 15 crore houses in the nation. But without builders, architects, and engineers, it is impossible. But today, builders are going through a very tough situation throughout the nation. A bird builds it nest for its requirements. But we human beings are not like that. We sometimes build houses more than we require. Later, children keep their parents in old age homes. On this occasion I call all young people to look after their parents. N N Developers completed this project during a very tough period. I assured all support in upcoming projects.”

K Jayaprakash Hedge said that people have invested in this area because of which the area is developing. “People went out of state, county and worked there and invested in native. Making Brahmavar a municipality has its own merits and demerits. The way Manipal grew, Brahmavar is growing now. I congratulate the promoters for giving such a beautiful building to Brahmavar. May promoter Neyon grow to greater heights like Dr Jerry Dias in the coming days.”
