Ballari, Oct 14: “Minister D K Shivakumar may be in jail anytime soon,” said BJP MLA Sriramulu.
Speaking in a meeting of party activists in Ballari he said that investigating agencies may arrest him anytime.
“He is speaking about changing Ballari in spite of having several cases of corruption against him. But he does not know his own future,” he said.
“D K Shivakumar has come to win Ballari election using money earned by corruption, but people of Ballari will teach him suitable lesson,” he said.
“Congress MLAs in Ballary go to meeting called by Siddaramiah but they do not go to meeting called by D K Shivakumar. It shows his capacity in Ballari.”
Ballary by election is in progress. While D K Shivakumar is in charge of Congress campaign, Sriramulu has taken up campaign in favour of BJP. Therefore the by election has taken a curious turn.
