Mangaluru: Gandhi Jayanthi celebrated at Bertrand Russell School

Mangaluru, Oct 5: Gandhi Jayanthi was celebrated at Bertrand Russell English Medium High school on October 2 at the school premises.

The event began with garlanding of flowers to Mahatma Gandhi’s photo and lighting the lamp by principal Vatsala and teaching staffs. Students sang the famous Bhajan’s of Bapu ‘Vaishnav Janatho’.



Also, students paid homages and tribute to Bapu by reading verses from the holy books The Bible, The Kuran and The Bhagvadgeetha conveying the significance of peace and spreading the message of non-violence throughout.
