Bantwal: BJP gives deadline to police to arrest culprits who stoned MLA's car

Daijiworld Media Network - Bantwal (MS)

Bantwal, Sep 11: Miscreants caused damage to the car of Bantwal MLA Rajesh Naik Ullipadiguthu at the uphill road near Narahariparvata of Panemangaluru on Monday, September 10 by throwing a large stone. The MLA, fortunately, escaped unhurt.

BJP activists who came to know about this incident rushed to the police station and protested that they will not go from the police station until and unless the culprits of this act are arrested.

"Did the police officers of Bantwal police station limits are held hostage by any political party? The procession which was being taken on account of the Bharath Bandh is not stopped. Why the police protection, which was supposed to be given to a sitting MLA, is provided to a former minister?" the activists of BJP questioned. They also said that though the innocent public is attacked by the Congress activists at places like Baddakatte, Mani, Maripalla, and Kaikamba, police have not taken any action.

The activists took back their protest after the ASP Hrishikesh Sonawane and Bantwal circle inspector T D Nagaraj assured to arrest the accused by Tuesday, September 11.

BJP leaders A Govind Prabhu, B Devdas Shetty, Ramdas Bantwal, Sulochana Bhat, Tungappa Bangera and Santhosh Kumar Rai Boliyar were present at the police station.

MLA Rajesh Naik files complaint

"When several vehicles were plying together, only my car was targeted and stone was thrown. Legal action needs to be taken on the people who have obstructed me from carrying out my duties," mentioned Rajesh Naik, MLA of Bantwal constituency in his complaint which was filed at the Bantwal police station.

District BJP spokesperson K Harikrishna Bantwal also warned that if the miscreants are not arrested by Tuesday, BJP will resort to furious protest.

I hope you are not the new Ramanatha Rai of Bantwal . The so called tiger had roared in 2013 that he will arrest Kalladka Prabhakar Bhat if he is elected and never touched him in 5 years till he was eventually booted out. Think twice before you make tall statements, if you can walk the talk.

Bajpards tried to show off by roaming around the cities to show 'Bharath Bandh is flop show' and save Feku's image. But, failed miserably !

Bajpards could have remained silent and respected opposition parties protest instead of gathering in groups and shouting slogans.
Give 'right to protest' to people... let them oppose wrong doings by Govt, no matter Central or State.

Violence in the name of bandh is not acceptable, it should be self motivated, you cannot force anyone to follow bandh, when people don't want to go with bandh, they are not supporting.
This violence could backfire congress in the election, there is awareness among people now, they judge the truth. Hooliganism will not work.

The police should also investigate the FEKUISM angle..., they would have done by themselves to attack on Congi..., to fool people..., for political mileage....!!!!

It makes me remember couple of years back during Patidar andolan i seen video where the Gujarat police themselves hitting the vehicle/car windshield with their lati's to book case against Shriman Hardik patelji.., (i request noble Hindustani's to google & check with their own eyes ...)

jokers ..., talks look like lost their mental balance...,.In 2013 when the petrol price was rising & rupee was falling against $ these leaders were mocking highly educated PM of Hindustan MM Singhji.., now lecturing ...., useless .... only fit for DOMBARATA...,

urgently ..., I need one bye 2 pani kam chai + pakoda...!!!
