These private Bus driver's are MANIAC's , rash and reckless , and if they have some young women in the front seats they try to impress them with their stunts and crude vulgar lingo... the driver and conductor, as well as the Bus owner need to be penalized... They are a menace on the roads endangering the other road user's and passengers. RTO and the police are helpless, they are on the payroll of the private Bus Mafia, once in a blue moon, they fool the public with random checks for Shrill horns,... No local politician will get involved as they too benefit in various ways

Many people complain about bus service in dk udupi. I have been all over India and let me assure you that this is BY FAR the best bus service in India. Even rural area buses follow timing! Sure there is speeding and the occasional accident, but considering the number of other vehicles and their driving especially 2 wheelers, not to mention road conditions, the number of accidents are SHOCKINGLY low. The bus condition and driver quality is really good. A sincere thanks to the bus service community.

I think you are owner, partner or a friend of Kaliyanpur / Mangalore Bus. Even I have traveled jn many states of India, Gulf, China, Hongkong, etc. Even Bangalore is better when compared with Mangalore. Also Kerala State buses coming to City are also taking advantage of chalta hai attitude

I wholeheartedly agree with your comment. I have lived in many parts of India. When it comes to safety, private buses of DK district are the worst. They will not allow passengers to board or alight.

you cannot just imagine this happening in any other districts of our state or any part of our country.

DK private buses are the worst when it comes to safety of passengers and pedestrians. They are hand in glove with the police department.

What best you are talking about Mr Kallyanpur. I have seen many times in Mangalore if the city buses are late by 5-10 minutes they will take some short cut routes and tell those passengers to get down where the bus doesn't go to their desired place. In Bangalore even though auto drivers are rude, but the city BMTC bus drivers and conductors are much better then our DK districts.

First of all check his licence,I think it is fake. Government bus is only solution to save many people. Speed governer must compulsory for city and service bus. What to do. Most of the buses are run by Politicians.

As expected a case of overspeeding. This is the common problem in city buses in most routes plus the udupi manipal route. In Valencia I often see route 15 & route 5 buses constantly overspeeding and overtaking each other precariously without any fear of law. God save the passengers.
