Mangaluru: Married woman escapes with valuables, asks husband not to search for her

Mangaluru, Jul 12: A married woman from Bengre here took valuables and cash and went missing. A case stands registered at Panambur police station in this regard.

Ummi Salma(28), wife of Faroodi Moideen , a resident of Bengre Kasaba is the woman who escaped with gold and Rs 25,000 cash.

On July 7, Faroodi had left for work in the morning. At around 4 pm, he received a call from his wife and she told him that she was going to Bengaluru. She also asked him not to search for her. Immediately, Faroodi returned and found the house locked. He also phoned his relatives and also searched for her in bus stations and railway station.

When he could not trace her, he filed a complaint at Panambur police station.

On July 9, Faroodi received a call from his wife and she told him that she got married to someone else. She told him that she would send Rs 1000 every month to him. Since then she has switched her phone off.

Ummi is 5 ft tall, fair complexion, round face and speaks Kannada, Hindi, English, Urdu and Beary languages. If there is any information about her whereabouts, Panambur police can be informed.

First of all there is no concept of Saint in Islam. Islam does not give special category to any Madrasa teacher by default.

May be your husband is working in police department in Muslim dominated area. So high percentage.
Even I agree that there is no such religion followers of which are not involved in rape cases. So why some people are highlighting the religion of wrongdoers; whereas Islam is very strict in punishing the rapists and it even gives the best means to avoid rapes.

Modi's wife is a very loyal human being who waited for her name to be mentioned as spouse by her husband. Waited patiently, without surrendering to anybody else, till she crossed her prime age and still does. Of-course, very differently than the woman in this news. Jasodaben's joy was boundless when, he finally, just once, mentioned her name in the nomination papers for Assembly elections in 2014. All the previous years he left it blank.

I had interacted many Hindus, Christians, Muslima men and women. Most of them whom I had interacted told me, the divorce rate is very high in their respective community. I was under the impression, only amongst Christians divorce is high, but this virus has affected all communities. Reasons beyond one's understanding.

Men should be extra cautious while dealing with their spouse. Time has gone, where husbands used to take for granted wife and she has to bear all the insults, responsibility of the irresponsible husband. Now the girls have become more and more bold; might be due to education, might be due to self reliant.
After all, every coin has got 2 sides.

So, the picture is taken when she is at home ? With what ? Mobile phone camera ?

Of what use is the picture (with husband/wife boy/girl friend) when just eyes are seen ? Isn't the husband thankful that she did not cover herself to that extent so that now he can put the photo on a website for others to identify her and tell him about it ? As such, why people get their women totally concealed except eyes ? So that she doesn't leave her husband for somebody else (that if she was made to wear to that extend she would not have gone away) ?

Both the ways it doesn't sound ethical. Those who want to separate, will do so anyway with or without enforcing head to toe covering.

Do you know one thing... my husband is into apolice department.. and highest child molestation cases and rape cases come up .. 80% muslime.. all madrasa saints... but muslim people are so united.. they cover it within themselves... make a meeting in madrasa.. and close the issue... i am not saying this because i want to bring down your community.. this is reality... they harras the girls parents saying that if this thing become public the girls will have a bad future.. no one will marry her... i have seen the girls mother crying and being suppressed by her own family member....

when she told is in blore..why faroodi searching relative's home..bus stand..railway stations. salma break heart of faroodi.. uska toh zindagi khaarab ho gaya. kya love itna khatarnaak hotha hai...leaving behind a person married...?? women's heart cannot be read..what's actually cooking..

There is no meaning in searching for her since she has already told that where she is going.
However Faroodi is a lucky man as he is going to get Rs.1000 every month as a pension from Ummi and very soon he is going to get new wife also.
