Ramanagara: Three workers cleaning inside of boiler suffocate to death

Ramanagara, Jul 12: Three workers who had entered the boiler of Anthem Biosciences, a manufacturer of medicines at Harohalli in Kanakapura taluk here, suffocated to death.

The tragedy occurred on Tuesday July 11.

The deceased have been identified as Lokesh from Mulbagal in Kolar disrict, Mahesh from Gottigehalli in Kanakapura taluk and Sharavana from Tamil Nadu. More details are awaited.

    Wasn't there someone like a supervisor or another employee outside to look after the health and safety of those employees? Anthem must be punished with severe penalties and/or revoking of licenses.
    In India we take these type of deaths for granted. When will we understand that ground workers are humans too?
