Mangaluru: New PL Caterers’ 'Mangalore City Kitchen' opens at Kodialbail

Mangaluru Jul 11: Residents of Mangaluru can now treat their taste buds with veg and non-veg delicacies at Mangalore City Kitchen, a new restaurant by the well-known New PL Caterers inaugurated near Empire Mall on Wednesday, July 11.

Parish priest of Bejai Church Fr Vincent and Fr Rovan blessed the hotel.

“We have opened this hotel near to Empire mall as it is a prime location in the city. We provide vegetarian and non-vegetarian food items at an affordable cost. Seafood delicacies, Mangalurean cuisine, Chinese dishes, Biriyani, thalis, soups, starters, juice and many more items are served at this hotel,” said Precilla Lobo, wife of owner Lancy Lobo.

Recently, the new PL caterers celebrated its silver jubilee. Owner of New PL Caterers Lancy Lobo was also present.

    I want to have Some Congee [rice porridge], with majjige, and pickle.
    Dry fish chutney also good. Please let me know about this.

    Congee should be cooked in Mud pot vessel and kept in a cool place overnight.
