Mangaluru Jul 11: The search operation by National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) team, for 20-year-old Sushant who was feared drowned at Moodushedde dam on July 8, is in progress.

On July 8, Sushant, son of Nagesh hailing from Vamanjoor had ventured into the dam waters and was not spotted thereafter. The fire brigade team could not trace his body after their search operation.

Two NDRF teams consisting of 30 members each from Hyderabad had arrived two days back after the rain lashed out in the city. One team had proceeded to Udupi while the other team was in Mangaluru.

The search operation for the drowned body by the NDRF team at Moodushedde dam, on the Kulur-Thannirbavi stretch is on.
