Mumbai: Renowned Tulu actor Sadashiva Salian no more

Mangaluru, Jul 9: Renowned hero of Tulu hit movies, Sadashiva Salian, passed away here on Sunday July 8.

He rose to fame with his super-hit movies, 'Bagyavantedi', 'Pettai Pili', 'Badkere Budle', 'Daareda Seere', 'Onte Adjust Malpi', 'Sididedda Paandavaru', 'Samara Simha' and others.

He was 68. He is survived by wife and two daughters.

Salian breathed his last at his residence in Meera road. He was living in Mumbai for many years.

Salian worked in Mumbai and acted in more than 50 films in Tulu and Kannada. In most of the Tulu movies he acted, he played main role.

Salian had acted with big names like Vishnuvardhan, Ravichandran and Shivaraj Kumar in Kannada.

Due to ill health, he had given up acting few years back.
