Bengaluru: High court to announce order on Mohammed Nalapad's bail plea today

Bengaluru, Jun 14: The state high court completed hearing of bail application moved by Mohammed Nalapad, son of Shanthinagar MLA, N A Haris, on Wednesday June 13. Nalapad has been under judicial custody since the last three months on charges of attacking and seriously injuring Vidwath, son of an entrepreneur, inside a pub in the city.

After lower courts dismissed his bail applications, Nalapad had moved his application in the high court. The single judge bench of the high court presided over by Justice John Michael D'Cunha heard arguments placed by senior advocate, B V Acharya, on behalf of Haris, and special public prosecutor, Shyam Sundar, on Wednesday. The bench reserved its order, which would be pronounced on Thursday.
