We have recordings of BJP leaders approaching our MLAs with money and ministerial boths, but our MLAs outrightly rejects. This is a victory of the democracy, the rule of law and the Constitution. We expect the governor to invite us to form the government now": Azad

4.23 pm: "We would like to congratulate all the Congress, JD(S) and indepedent MLAs who resisted attempts to lure them. Some of our MLAs were kidnapped by the BJP. But as and when they got the opportunity to reach the Vidhana Soudha, they stood by the Congress. We are 117 now - Congress, JD(S) and independents. We would like to once again congratulate the Supreme Court who brought down the number of days from 15 to one: Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad.

Next Lok Sabha elections we will win all 28 seats from Karnataka. I am ready to sit in the opposition too. Again I will travel the entire state and convince the people that they should support the BJP. I respect the mandate of the people. I request the MLAs to vote according to their conscience. But it has not happened. They have not been allowed to speak to their families. They have been kept captive. My own people, pro-farmer people whether in ruling or opposition, I will be fighting for the farmers till my last breath. I won't lose anything by losing power": Yeddyurappa.

3.58 pm: "Even though Congress government was in Karnataka, PM Modi did justice to the state and never discriminated. The state has so many resources, forests and rivers but only needs will from the government to develop the state. Today this is an ordeal by fire, I have gone through several ordeals, and the people have blessed me. If only we had gone 113 instead of 104 seats, we would have made Karnataka a paradise": Yeddyurappa.

3.56 pm: "I have stayed in the houses of Dalits and seen their plight. My heart beats for them: Yeddyurappa

I have seen their plight. I am the only person in Karnataka who has stood by the farmers and I am very proud of this. I have tried all I could for the farmers and have always kept them at the heart of my campaigns. I want to serve the people of the state, the farmers especially. I am dedicating my life to wiping away the tears of the farmers. I have thought I should waive away the loans given by nationalised banks. I wanted to allot 1.56 lac crore for irrigation and give support price to all crops. I wanted to help the farmers everywhere. Everybody knows this": Yeddyurappa

3.47 pm: "The people of the state have rejected the Congress and JD(S) and everybody in the state knows this. But we did not get the full mandate but neither did Congress and JD(S). There have been allegations and counter-allegations to mislead the people. Social media and TV channels have been attacking me. The single largest party is by tradition invited to form the government. That is why I was invited by the government. But the saddest part is, the farmer in this state does not have cattle and water. So many thousands of farmers have committed suicide. We have to safeguard and protect them": Yeddyurappa.

3.45 pm: "PM Modi and Amit Shah nominated me as the CM on the birth anniversary of Dr B R Ambedkar on April 14. If Prakash Javadekar's statements are true then why did BJP wait for 3 days to quit the government? Why wait even for swearing of MLAs and appointment of speaker if there was no horse trading involved when everyone clearly knew they didn't have the seats?

After former Prime Minister Vajpayee 13 day’s central government, BJP’s Yedurappa has set new Guinness Book of world record being shortest duration Chief Minister of the world.
Perhaps this is the second time BJP’s ‘Laddu’ had gone waste. The BJP rigged the EVM in Coastal Karnataka, Shimmoga, Belgaum and Hyderabad Karnataka and reversed the intelligence agency prediction. Governor sabotaged the democracy by violating the conventions and constitutional norms. Use the Bellary Reddy’s illegal wealth of Rs 32,000 crores to buy the opposition party MLA’s.
Like senior party stalwart of BJ Mr. Yashwnt Sinha said, they will not sit back and try foul play to dislodge this government like in Bihar using muscle and money power.
I would say for Yedurappa curses of Dharmstala swearing and Church attack is still haunting to date.
    Jai Karnataka

Great daring actions taken by cong and JDs..right From the beginning of appealing to court and making court to open midnight.. They stood like a strong wall in front of bjps all over confident wicked attempts.. It's a lesson to bjp that they can't rule this democracy by anti democratic ways... Really foolish of them to do horse trading of elected MĹAs who where the representative of feelings and emotions of one particular constituency.. It's like trying to purchase the feelings of all those who have voted that particular MLA's.. Really one should congratulate the solidarity between congress and jds mastered by tactician d.k.shï

Before we all had seen in the movies like “NAYAK” how corrupt politicians are doing the bad things like buying the MLA by offering them 150 crores of money to each MLA’s, using the money & muscle power, threatening the MLA, kidnaping the MLA’s, threatening the MLA’s Family, using the power of business man like Reddy Bros in poaching the MLA’s, Purchasing the governor for 600 Crores, purchasing the SC judge for 1000Crores, Transferring the honest IAS IPS officer like Anna malai etc with the bad intension, removing the police security given to the congress and JDS MLA’s, preventing the congress and JDS MLA’s not to travel by special flights to Kochi etc etc…
People of Karnataka please wake up and start protesting for your rights, we need honest politicians in power unlike corrupt Yeddiyurappa who gone to the jail.

You enjoy with your Feku and Daku..BJP is a party with difference. It should be called Hook or Crook party.

Winning matters for them. They are not worried about casualities on the way.

Like Constitution, Election commission, Judiciary, Parliament democracy so many other important institutions. Governor calling BJP with 104 MLAs itself is a fraud. When the other combine has 116 MLAs, how can the Governor call BJP. All other things are mockery of democracy.

We oppose minority appeasement like breaking Hindu religion (lingayat issue) and 'tipu jayanti' celebrations by CON party for its political gain.
Where was your morality when CON Gujarth speaker Krishnapal Singh dismissed the BJP govt. in1996.

If opposition party allowed to live only reaction can be delivered against an action in democracy very essential different party should exist.otherwise there will be only action.
