Bengaluru: Nearly 15 MLAs from Congress and JD(S) ‘missing’

Bengaluru, May 15: A day after the election results were announced with BJP and Congress-JD(S) combine claiming to form the government, political drama continues in the state.

It is said that 5 MLAs from JD(S) and 10 MLAs from Congress are missing at present.

As per a senior JD(S) leader, only 32 of the party's 37 MLAs have reached the party's on-going legislative meeting in city. The party was waiting for five of its MLAS to reach the Shangri-La Hotel in Vasanthnagar neighbourhood.

Meanwhile, ten MLAs are missing from the legislative party meeting that is ongoing at the Congress headquarters on Queens Road in city.

The list is as follows:

Anand Singh
Nagendra
Bhimanayak
Ganesh Hukkeri
Vashwanthrayagouda Patil
Zameer Ahmed
Tukaram
Mahantesh Kaujalagi
Satish Jarkiholi
Ramesh Jarkiholi 

Some sources from JD(S) said that their 5 remaining MLAs will reach the venue soon.

But the whereabouts of Congress MLAs are yet to be known.

    If it is true that all these MLAs are changing party after winning election then these dishonest MLAs should be punished by the people who have voted them, they have cheated the people these MLAs are not trust worthy they are worst then traitor Pakistanis.     M'lore and Udupi will benefit if BJP forms the government !!
    because all our elected MLAs are from BJP; hence will have more say in VIdhan Sabha.
    will have less communal problems in coming months before the Lok Sabha election next year and
    BJP will play more positive and constructive role rather than communal cards next year..

    My full sympathy for Zhameer Ahmed...His status is like an employee who fought with Manager and decided to give resignation and joined new company..Unfortunately after few days to his utter bad luck his new manger in new company is his Old Manger..!!!     Why blame MLAs for any defection? We are all here for our own 'faida' and not charity. They know that JDS is a non -existent party. Cong party is losing state after state and has no future till Raul Vinci rules.
    . BJP is a strong party ruling 22 states and the center. They have money and muscle power . So the future is bright . Like all of us, they want to join a good company to reap the benefits. So lets all relax.
    Congi will never learn its lesson even after losing 22 states.

    If BJP forms the Govt , then for sure,, Amit Shah is a Chanakya . no doubt about that
    He fought the elecitons with a tainted Yeddi. Campaigned in key places very meticulously. Modi was saved for the last week in Cong bastions . And the end Result ? A complete wash out of Congress.
