Siddaramaiah wins Badami seat, loses in Chamundeshwari by huge margin

Bengaluru, May 15 (IANS): Outgoing Congress Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Tuesday won the Badami Assembly seat in Bagalkot district but lost in Chamundeshwari in Mysuru.

According to results declared by the Election Commission, Siddaramaiah won in Badami by a narrow margin of 1,696 votes over BJP's B. Sreeramulu.

He lost to Janata Dal-Secular (JD-S) rival G.T. Deve Gowda in his home district of Mysuru by a huge margin of 36,042 votes.

Earlier in the day, Siddaramaiah was reported to be trailing in both the constituencies.

In Badami, he led initially, but then fell behind Sriramulu. However, finally, he prevailed over his BJP rival.

It took some years for the people of Karnataka to realise what they had lost after Ramakrishna Hegde and S M Krishna. Therefore in a couple of years the people will realise their folly at Siddaramiah's loss. He provided very good administration over the past 5 years, but the onslaught of lies and communal divide succeeded in defeating him. My suggestion to the congress is to hire some clowns and actors to address rallies and feed lies and nonsense to the public to counter Modi and his melodrama and lies. Probably that strategy will win the Congress elections.

Siddu will be remembered as a good chief minister and a good person !!
But as of now the whole nation is entangled with Modi's maya; just like a teenagers infatuation towards opposite sex.
Modi's desh prem has to transform into fast paced development or else; sooner or later maturity will come and sense will prevail over infatuation..

Siddu Sir gave a very good governance and had the interest of people foremost in his governance ,we are thankful that we had such a able CM and the country will prosper if you have many more CM like him . Like all humans he might have made a mistake with regard to Tippu jayanthi . Also congress did not fight as a united team . Like with Lobo , Bava , Madhwaraj and Shankuthala Shetty people failed to recognize the development works and voted on parameters which aren't relevant for karnataka. Siddu Sir thanks for 5 year of supper governance and all the best.

Mr. Siddaramiah was by far the best chief minister of Karnataka. People of Karnataka did not recognize your good governance and opted for corrupt administration (you all know who looted Karnataka from 2008-2013). However lets hope INC+JD(S) merge together to give good governance and not let Mr. Yeddi loot Karnataka again.

    Jai Hind.

The day he visited Dharmasthala and announced that he had eaten fish before praying and said I dont care , was the begining of the dooms day for Ktaka Congress. He has paid a heavy price.
Eventually Ktaka preferred a tainted PM under Modis leadership than an arrogant Siddramiah under a clown.

Two weeks back I commented that, I will be the happiest person on 15.5.18 if Siddaramaiah loses election in Chamundeshwari!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But at the same time I congratulate Siddaramaiah for breaking some of below records
    1. He is the First CM who completed full 5 years CM term after 40 years.
    2. He is the First CM who retained his post even after several visits to Chamarajnagar after 35
    years.
    3. He is the First CM who initiated the arrangements for Shravana Belagola Mahamasthabisheka & retained his CM seat until the Mahamasthabisheka completed. Starting form Devraj Urs all CM who initiated the arrangements for Shravana Belagola Mahamasthabisheka lost their CM post before Mahamasthabisheka begins!!!!!!.
    4. Probably he is the First Karnataka Congress CM, who shows his guts to Congress High Command
    that who is Karnataka CM?.

Anyway Bye bye Siddhu, founder of Tippu Jayanthi!!!!!!!!!.

Siddanna, we are with you Sir.

You are "Karnataka's pride & Prestige"

This man all alone faught against BJP's all odds and both Jailbirds DAAKHU's(Amith Shah's money bags along with Reddy's and Yeddi's couldn't succeed to put him at the corner.
This win is enough to save Kannadiga's pride from both Gujju's ...FEKHU & DAAKHU.
