Recently a Billava Poet viz: Perooru Jaru wrote a elaborate poem of 1250 stanzas ( more than 6000 lines) in pure Tulu language about Narayana guru's teachings and his life. Till today in the History of Tulu literature no one else has written such a beautiful and very interesting poem of this size. But unfortunately Tulu Academy is not aware of such a great work.
